Aspen Vault

About

Mining risk and engineering, in one firm.

Aspen Vault pairs three decades of mining risk practice with the engineering to make a property's record answerable. Without both, this work does not hold together.

Built by people who have signed for the decisions this record supports.

Our leadership has spent thirty years in mining risk across operations and major capital projects, building risk analytics practices for global consultancies, delivering resilience systems for major operators, and teaching risk management to mine engineers.

And by people who build the engine.

Our engineering team builds knowledge graphs and document systems for government and industry. Aspen Vault is operated by 1605865 B.C. LTD, incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, and based in Victoria.

The specialists are yours.

We organise the evidence so your specialists can review it, challenge it and apply their judgement. We are not a substitute for a resource geologist, a geotechnical engineer or a competent person. We are how those people stop hunting for the data, so their judgement goes on the rock rather than the filing.

The foundation, not a one-off report.

Once the assay record is structured, everything else joins the same graph, and what was known at the time of a decision stays retrievable after the record moves on.

Aspen Vault operates on the unceded traditional territory of the syilx Okanagan people, and on the traditional territory of the lək̩ʷəŋən peoples, known today as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We are grateful to live and work on these lands, and we honour their enduring stewardship. We are committed to building knowledge systems worthy of the communities we serve.
